Multi-Layered Backups
In the current digital age you can't be too careful when it comes to backing up data, that's why we have several systems in place for our clients’ peace of mind. We pride ourselves in offering a multi-layered backup system with full redundancy to secure your files against corruption and loss.
1st Level: RAID
Our servers use RAID technology. RAID is a method of running hard drives in parallel. Should a drive fail, the others will take over seamlessly without any downtime.
2nd Level: Local Backups
Backups of your site files, emails and databases are made daily and weekly to your local storage at 2am every morning.
3rd Level: Backup to the USA
Backups are cloned to servers in Texas at 5am.
4th: Level: Backups of Backups
We backup the USA backups to an additional server every week.
5th Level: Client Backups
We always recommend that clients make their own backups and this can easily be done through cPanel. Backups can me made and stored in your home directory, saved to your local machine or transferred to another hosting account, all in just a couple of clicks.
